After finishing my evaluation, and examining my blog website to see if there were any changes required, many changes were required, especially to my magazine front cover and poster. The old versions of these ancillary products can be found in my creative evaluation question one.

New poster |
My previous film poster was black and white with sharp serif fonts. The model is in darker lighting and the dominant colours are black and grey with tinges of red, blue and white. This design was impractical as it was impossible to see the model. The text was dominating over the image which was not necessary as the main image should be the focus of the poster, not the information. My new magazine poster is much better as the doll and hands become a predominant anchor to the audience. The colour helps to brighten the poster and entice the audience even further. The quality of the poster comes across as an old 70s/80s film which was the intended purpose. The slogan has toned down and sells more effectively for it allows users to adjust to the poster. My new film poster is a better product than the old film poster.

Old magazine front cover |
My previous magazine cover had the same font and colour throughout which made it difficult to distinguish which story was different. The fonts were too big and gave very little focus to the anchor model which is the key tool in attracting audiences. The quality of the anchor model was not to great and it made the magazine front cover look unprofessional. My new magazine front cover is a much more effective as a magazine cover as it uses a range of colours to attract audiences. The fonts are unique and make it easier for the audience to identify the different plugs. I got rid of the skyline and and moved the text down so you could see the anchor model more. The text allows the anchor model to be the main focus and the text provides background context rather than being too bold. My new magazine front cover is a better product than the old magazine front cover.
