Technical list
Camera – This is
the most important piece of equipment that is needed in the production stages.
This is needed to film all the scenes for our trailer. We will use a DSLR
camera so that the quality of filming will be clear.
Tripod – The
camera will be set in one place so that we can film some shots stably. It will
help balance and keep the camera from moving around. When using a tripod the
shots that we shoot will appear realistic and allow for a better focus.
Prop list
Fake blood – This
will be used on the ghost as well as the victim. It shows the element of death
and will bring fear as the audience do not know what the ghost is capable of
doing. The blood will help portray fear and death.
Doll – a physical
representation of the ghost it also links to innocence as young children often
have dolls as a companion. This doll is the companion of the ghost and also
goes against the stereotypes as the doll is now associated with death.
Face paint – Paint
will be used on the ghost, it will make her skin paler and give off a ghostly
effect. The paint will help distort the ghosts face so that the identity is not
revealed.
Costume list
White dress – The
ghost will be wearing a white dress. It goes against stereotypes as the colour
white is usually associated with purity and innocence. However a ghost that
kills does not follow these stereotypes.
Hooded
jumpers/jumpers – The teenagers will wear these pieces of clothing as they
are preparing for a camping trip. The aesthetic of the clothing gives the
audience the impression that the teenagers are prepared for the camping trip.
